The Swift Group has announced a special arrangement with leading caravan insurance specialists Towergate Bakers, to cut the cost of insurance on the company’s new top-of-the-range Conqueror, Spectrum and Elite single and twin-axle models and Supreme twin-axle models by more than a half. This offer applies to models that start arriving at dealers from the end of August.
Customers who buy these new models before the end of November 2007 will also receive the first three months of insurance under this exclusive scheme free.
Savings of up to 52% on normal premiums from Towergate Bakers have been made possible thanks to the very high level of security fitted to these new ranges. This includes a Phantom ProActive satellite monitoring system, Al-KO Secure wheel locks (two on twin axles), an internal alarm and new high security exterior door lock.
Examples of the premium savings on some of the new models, based on a caravanner aged 50 or over with three or more years claim-free caravanning, are as follows.
On a Swift Conqueror 480, Abbey Spectrum 215 and Sterling Elite Diamond each worth £14,525, the Swift promotion premium would be £253.35 compared to a normal annual premium of £533.54, which is a 52.52% saving. For an Ace Supreme Twinstar worth £17,975 the annual cost of cover would go down from £656.71 to £312.79, which is a 52.38% reduction.
To take advantage of these premium savings, customers should call FREEPHONE 0800 496 1516 and quote reference ‘Swift Promotion’.
“Caravan security is top of our list of priorities, and these new ranges have a state-of-the-art system, all designed to make them as safe as possible by offering the maximum deterrent to the potential thief,” Richard White Group Marketing Director commented.
“As one of the leading insurance specialists, we are delighted that Bakers have decided to recognise this work by offering highly competitive rates for insuring these new products, saving hundreds of pounds against normal rates.”
Paul Baker, Sales Director at Towergate Bakers, said: “We are delighted that Swift, the UK’s largest caravan manufacturer, have decided to take such a pro-active and responsible approach to the security of their new range of touring caravans. Whilst the theft of touring caravans has declined in recent years it is still a very real threat and causes massive upset to the unfortunate caravan owner and their family.
“We have taken a leading role in rewarding caravanners who take caravan security and secure storage seriously by offering massive discounts. Owners of the new Swift range will be very well rewarded with substantially reduced insurance premiums as well as the bonus of the first 3 months insurance FREE for policies incepted in 2007.”
