Autocruise motorhomes gave new owners Swift Holdings (UK) Limited an early sign of the likely success for the brand by recording sales of over £3.5 million at the International Caravan and Motorhome Show at the NEC Birmingham, last week.
Autocruise Motorhomes Limited, the new company formed by Swift Holdings, which saved the factory and 140 jobs at the company’s Mexborough plant a week before the show started, used the show to launch two new camper vans, the Tempo and Rhythm. These models attracted strong sales at the show.
The company's luxury low profile coachbuilt motorhomes and top of the market Driving Range also enjoyed a strong show and the company swept the board at the Industry Awards. The Gleneagle won both the 'Washroom of the Year' and 'Kitchen of the Year' awards whilst the newly launched Tempo won the 'Innovation of the Year' award for it's extending kitchen.
"This success is a strong indication of the strength of the Autocruise brand and a big reward for everyone at Mexborough who put in a lot of extra work to get the products to the NEC Show. It provides a major input of orders for the winter period and is the first step in rebuilding one of the strongest brands in the market. Watch this space for the February NEC Show when we will have an even stronger product line up," Swift Holding Chairman Peter Smith commented.
