Couple take delivery of their 10th Swift Motorhome

Mr & Mrs Williams picking up their 10th Motorhome

When it comes to motorhomes, Rex and Sheila Williams from Monks Risborough in Buckinghamshire believe you can't buy better than a Swift Group motorhome and as such, have just taken delivery of their 10th motorhome, a Bessacarr E795.

Due to Sheila's ill-health the couple began motorhoming 15 years ago, seeing it as an easy way to get away on holiday and go away for long weekends in-between hospital appointments. Although they don’t go abroad, they do travel the length and breadth of the UK and frequently attend local rallies as members of the Swift Motorhome Owners Club and the Motor Caravanners' Club (Chiltern).

The retired couple have bought all 10 motorhomes from Cranhams in Upminster, Essex. When asked if there was a particular reason why, Mr Williams said, "Yes, because Cranhams have always been so good to us. Whenever we ring, they handle our query straight away and they continually provide us with an outstanding service."

The couple have seen a vast difference in the improvements that have been made to their Swift motorhomes over the years. Their first motorhome was a Swift 610, from there they moved on to various Swift Kon-tikis, as they were suitable for a wheelchair and towing a small car and now, due to wanting the luxury of the leather interior, they have bought their first Bessacarr E795.

Mr Williams said, "All of our motorhomes have been very good, however, we really like the new cab on the Bessacarr E795 as the overcab bed is great for the grandchildren and the 160 MultiJet diesel engine is lovely to drive."

As to why they always buy Swift motorhomes and like them so much, Mr Williams said, "When you buy a motorhome, as far as I’m concerned, you're not just buying the product your also buying the service that goes with it and I’ve always found that Swift provide an excellent aftercare service. I've got to know a number of the Swift management over the years and I know that if I have a problem I can give them a call and they will sort it out for me."
