Ace reduces prices for even better value

07/09/2005

All Ace models have moved to new market sectors for 2006 with major changes to both price and specification. They continue to offer outstanding value for money and a high level of specification and are now repositioned to sit below Abbey, Sterling and Swift to provide even more choice in price and specification within the Swift Group.

Set to provide affordable quality and more choice at greater value, prices have been significantly cut across all three ranges. The Jubilee is now £400 cheaper. The Award has a £1,050 reduction whilst the Supreme sees the biggest saving with a massive price cut of £1,500.

Despite the price reduction, Ace continues to offer a wide, inexpensive selection of the newest, most popular layouts on the market - 20 models in total - and with up to 16 optional extras to choose from, Ace will be providing customers comprehensive choice at unbeatable value.

The Award and Supreme ranges both enjoy a whole new look for 2006 with modern furniture and fittings, contemporary new soft furnishings schemes and a new front window design. All ranges incorporate spaceframe technology enabling precision-built seats to be stronger whilst providing easy access to vast underseat storage and for added convenience, most washrooms now come with separate shower areas.

Jubilee gets separate blinds and flyscreens to front windows and prices come down by £400

Nine superb models make up the popular Jubilee range, which continues to offer style, quality and even greater value for 2006 with a £400 price reduction since 2005.

Specification sees the addition of three separate cassette blinds and flyscreens providing the choice of shading and/or ventilation to each of the three opening front windows.

Four new models were launched within this range last year including the twin axle Equerry, which offers family accommodation for up to six with end washroom and fixed side bunks and the Diplomat with its ‘L’ shaped kitchen. The Courier offers single axle accommodation for up to six with fixed rear bunks and the shorter fixed bed Envoy is ideal for smaller cars.

There is an AL-KO Euro hitch with two-way assisted handbrake and a new AKS 3004 stabiliser to help prevent “snaking” and to give more clearance for manoeuvring, the jockey wheel stores away inside the A-frame moulding and a wet locker with external access is available for wet or muddy items.

Optional extras on the exterior include the spare, steel wheel and carrier mounted on an underslung AL-KO carrier near the axle for ideal weight distribution and individually designed alloy wheels with a smart Ace badge on the centre bosses.

Lockers and seats are made from spaceframe technology, which makes them strong and precision-built. It means reading lights and cable-runs can be built in and helps to create more usable space underneath seats with easy access via the full front access flaps.

Soft furnishings in warm russet and neutral shades complement the rich Spanish Chestnut colour furniture and the clear, opening, panoramic Heki rooflight with blind and flyscreen above the lounge, helps make the interior light and airy. Loose fit carpets, which are easily removed for cleaning come as standard.

Generous specification levels in kitchens include a 107-litre piezo ignition fridge with stylish curved door or, as an optional extra, an electronic ignition version. Both have a salad drawer and full width freezer compartment. There is a dual fuel hob with three gas rings and one electric ring, to save gas if needed, a gas grill and full size oven.

Double bed frames are aluminium, making them stronger and lighter with easy access to generous storage space underneath.
