Ace Supreme Twinstar comes top and is over £1,000 cheaper than its nearest rival

The 2006 Big Caravan Test conducted by Practical Caravan in the November 2005 issue, has unveiled the Ace Supreme Twinstar to be the best-fixed bed twin-axle van for 2006.

Ace fought off strong competition from Avondale, Compass and Lunar in the comparison of the 2006 models after scrutinising all elements from pitching and setting up, to storage, bedrooms, kitchens and washrooms.

"With its 2006 price down £1,500 to just £16,285, it is more than £1,000 cheaper than the Compass Rallye 634 yet offers the same level of equipment at a considerably lower weight. But more importantly, it provides a fixed bed, washroom, kitchen and storage provision that are difficult to fault, both in terms of comfort and practicality." Big Caravan Test verdict.

The 2006 Ace Supreme retails at £1500 less than the 2005 version, making this an even more attractive choice. The massive price cut is in line with Swift Groups aim to bring Ace back to its more affordable roots.

The Ace Supreme Twinstar has the most user-friendly kitchen, TV socket away from seating to give more comfortable viewing, better styling and storage in the bathroom, curved airline styled lockers to give maximum upper level storage and overall considerably lower weight than the other three models on test.
