Record sales mark Swift Challenger's 21st anniversary

The Swift Group is celebrating record sales of the all-new Swift Challenger at the Earls Court show earlier this month (Nov).

More than £2.5m worth of Challenger tourers were sold during the six-day event where it was launched, which was more than double the previous year's sales at the show.

The top two selling models were the Challenger 480 and 530, which has prompted Swift to increase initial batches of these models.

The achievement has restored the Challenger to its position as Britain's most popular single touring caravan range and has prompted an increase in production of the complete range of Challengers to meet demand.

Swift Group Sales and Marketing Director Richard White said: "New product launches are vitally important for the company and therefore we are highly delighted that the new Challenger has quite clearly hit the spot.

"The Challenger has been around for 21 years and this is an ideal birthday celebration for the brand."

He urged people hoping to buy a new Challenger to move quickly as despite stepping up production, early season availability of some of the more popular models was already beginning to run short.
