Swift to launch stunning new tourer and motorhome models at February NEC Show

12/12/2006

Having its launch at G-Mex in January, the all new Sprite is also set to be a major draw at the NEC. This spacious, lightweight five model range is an outstanding buy with generous interior space and high specification for the prices starting at £9,650.

As well as layouts ranging from the new compact two-berth to the ultra spacious six-berth twin axle layout, the Sprite range has several unique features over the competition including one-piece thick gauge aluminium sides, a 7’4” wide body shell and impressive 6’5” headroom.

Receiving their public debut will be the new Award Tristar, Sterling Eccles Opal and Abbey GTS 420 island double bed models with the same spacious layout as the new Challenger 560, launched at the Caravan and Motorhome Show at the NEC in October.

Their 7’6” width provides good access to both sides of the island double bed while generous front seating converts to a second domestic size double bed.

Also new and receiving their first public viewing are the five-berth, single-axle Abbey Vogue 530, Sterling Europa 530, Swift Charisma 540 and Ace Viceroy, which are among the most spacious single-axle tourers on the market.

These four models offer spacious lounges with long parallel seats and large kitchens with an extended unit. They also have a large rear double bed with a foldaway overhead bunk and walk-in enclosed shower cubicle in the centre washroom.

Also making its debut appearance is the 7’6” wide, four-berth twin-axle Abbey Vogue 620 which will join the line-up of the Swift Charisma 620, Sterling Europa 620 and Jubilee Viscount, which were successfully launched at the October NEC show. The first fixed bed twin-axles at their price and specification level, they also offer parallel front seats and beds and spacious end washrooms.

Swift motorhomes being launched at the NEC reach new levels in the shape of the new Bessacarr E700 and Swift Kon-Tiki - the best-performing, most luxurious ranges ever launched by Swift.

Both offer sophisticated living spaces, a new Fiat Ducato X2/50 cab, powerful new engines and the first TAG axle island double bed model in each range. The new five-berth Kon-Tiki 675 and E785 layouts offer a large storage locker suitable for bikes underneath a rear bedroom with permanent twin beds, which can convert to a double if required.

The all new E700 and Kon-Tiki come hot on the heels of this summer’s launch of the luxurious low profile Ace Airstream, Bessacarr E500 and Swift Bolero ranges and the impressive coachbuilt Ace, Bessacarr E400 and Swift Sundance ranges.
