What's the difference between the Challenger SE, Grande & Exclusive?

The multi-award winning Swift Challenger range takes touring to a whole new level, each offering an excellent specification within a competitive price bracket, making it an irresistible choice for couples and families.

But what are the key differences between the SE, Grande SE, Exclusive and Grande Exclusive? To get started, let’s take a glance at each range:

Swift Challenger SE

Challenger SE has an on-trend light interior and a host of external features that make Challenger SE excellent value for money.

There are four models to choose from (480, 560, 580 & 650), three with single axle and one twin axle. They come in 2 to 4 berths, with an MTPLM of up to 1760kg and a competitive price bracket of £29,395 to £34,695.

Swift Challenger SE

The highlights of this range include plentiful storage space, fully equipped kitchen, LED lighting, scratch resistant flooring, Alde heating and AL-KO ATC trailer control.

Swift Challenger Grande SE

At 8-ft wide, the Challenger Grande SE excels in delivering a welcoming and spacious caravan interior. The extra width allows for a wider opening central window and a larger bed make-up in the lounge.

The range has five models (560L, 580, 635, 650L & 670), two with single axles and three twin axles. They come in 4 to 6 berths, with an MTPLM of up to 1833kg and a competitive price bracket of £34,995 to £37,495.

Swift Challenger Grande SE

The highlight of this range is the extra lounge space, offering an additional 7" between the front parallel seats, which also creates extra sleeping space for even more comfort. The 560L and 650L also offer an L-shaped lounge for increased socialising comfort.

Swift Challenger Exclusive

New for the 2024 season, Challenger Exclusive is an enhanced version of Challenger SE, featuring additional premium features to make this range extra special. The range is on available from selected dealerships.

The range has four models to choose from (480, 560, 580 & 650), three with single axle and one with a twin axle. They come in 2 to 4 berths, with an MTPLM of up to 1767kg and a competitive price bracket of £31,195 to £36,495.

Swift Challenger Exclusive

The highlights of this range include integrated Wi-Fi, Swift Command panel and Command Tracker, an upgraded fabric scheme and an offside service light.

Challenger Grande Exclusive

The Challenger Grande Exclusive is also new for the 2024 season, and comes with the same additional premium features as the Challenger Exclusive, but at 8ft-wide, has a more spacious interior for extra socialising and sleeping comfort.

This range has five models to choose from (560L, 580, 635, 650L & 670), two single axles and three twin axles. They come in 4 to 6 berths, with an MTPLM of up to 1870kg and within a competitive price bracket of £36,795 to £39,295.

Swift Challenger Grande Exclusive

As an 8-ft wide model, the highlight is the extra space created for increased socialising and sleeping comfort. There’s an additional 7" between the front parallel seats. The 560L and 650L also offer an L-shaped lounge with a dedicated space for a TV.

Let’s compare the SE to the Grande SE

Both the Challenger SE and Challenger Grande SE offer the same high-specification features.

Both ranges are of a similar length, with each range topping at 7.98m, but the Grande SE has a width of 2.48m (8ft) which brings extra valuable space, with two models also offering the L-shaped lounge, making it an ideal family caravan.

The extra width allows for a wider opening central window and a larger bed make-up in the lounge. The spacious front lounge comes with an extra seven inches between the seats.

The SE sleeps 2-4 people and starts at £31,195 whereas the Grande SE sleeps 4-6 people and starts at £34,995.

The extra space in the Grande SE brings a slightly higher price bracket and the choice between the two ranges really does come down to personal preference and requirements.

So what does the Exclusive range offer?

New for the 2024 season, the Challenger Exclusive and Challenger Grande Exclusive is an enhanced version of the SE and Grande SE, which comes with additional premium features to make this range extra special:

The Exclusive has a width of 2.28m (7’6”) whilst the Grande Exclusive has a width of 2.48m (8ft) which brings extra interior space, and the Grande Exclusive 670 model sleeps up to six people.

Swift Exclusive

The increased interior space offers an extra touch of touring luxury and comfort, yet the narrower models uses its space just as effectively.
